Gravel Driveway Grading
#1
I live on a gravel driveway that we share with two other families that is approximately 1/3 mile. Over the course of a year it needs to be graded to remove pot-holes and tire ruts. I have a Honda Foreman and would like to find a drag or other implement that will do the job vs. using a rented tractor and a landscape rake ($) . Any thoughts? My concern is finding something that has enough weight to loosen up the gravel. I would appreciate any information or ideas you might have. Thanks. Greg

Cabelas has an ATV Harrow Drag that can be set to dig deep (3" to 4"
, shallow or flipped over to smooth after roughing it up. I've used mine a couple times and think it would work great on gravel driveways. It's well
built and will withstand adding weight for deeper penetration. $300.00

Take a 4x4 or landscape timber, run it through some 8x8x16 cinder blocks, drill a hole in each end and run a chain, cable or line from each hole to your trailer hitch. does a fair jog and only costs a few bucks. Best width is about 4-6 feet.
