I recently installed an A2000 warn on my SP500 and would now like to purchase, snatchblock, towstrap, treesaver and anything else you worthy gentlemen can suggest. And also a good place to purchase it on line, catalog besides a dealer.
Thanks in advance for your advice.

J. C. Whitney (312) 431-6102, the mail order automotive products company, lists a variety of ****** blocks in their catalog at attractive prices, tow straps (aka "tree savers") as well. The straps may be larger and stronger than ATVing requires, but they'll do.

I had a custom 1" wide nylon strap made up at a rigging shop, where I could also purchase shackle clevises, cable clips, wire rope, choker chains, grab hooks, etc. I also bought a polyester sling, something that looks like a 6' diameter hula hoop, albeit a very limp one; a very versatile rigging aid. Look under "wire rope" in your telephone yellow pages and you'll likely find a similar source. Also some hardware stores carry rigging gear.

AW Direct, (800) 243-3194, sells towing, recovery, and service vehicle accessories without limit (I bought a small SuperWinch ****** block (not cataloged, I think; most of their ****** blocks are huge) from them).

Good luck!

Cabelas has the Warn kit for 79.95 cheapest that I know of, and of coarse you can't beat dealing with them! Shipping is resonable and very fast!!!

I would jsut add to the already great list: www.stevenstractor.com and call 1-888-460-7989 (that is Princess Auto. I know the name is funny, but get a catlaog. You will not believe the things they have!).

I second Rammer's post about Northern Tool. I just ordered an 8000# ****** block (heaven forbid I get stuck and have Tree Farmer's words echoing in my ears about ****** blocks), 6' tree saver strap, and 15' tow strap for about $38.00 plus shipping. That's a far cry from Warn's outrageous price for their winch kit. No, I didn't get a fancy bag with a Warn logo on it, but I bet I can come up with something to pack it all in for less than $79.00

Your right TxDoc2, Princess Auto has a pile of stuff to choose from, at a decent price as well.

You can get a magic marker and stencil "WARN" on it and no one will know. Don't ask me how I know this, I just do.
Also, you can do the same on a bag for your girlfriend and put "Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word " on it. Same thing, but different.
