Default Question to those who have a Moose "County" Plow.

Hammer4,
I found that using my winch to raise/lower the blade is hard on cables. The problem is caused when the cable isn't always wound on tight and subsequent layers dig into it. I just use about 4-6 feet of cable and consider it disposable. A snap-on closed hook attaches the cable to the blade for quick blade removal.
You will have a blast plowing. It's the most fun you can have with a snowsuit on.
