Narrowed my choice on my 1st ATV down to an Eiger 400 or Prairie 360. Going with ato trans and 4x4. What's your advice? Thanks!!!...Back40

 

take the eiger can't beat it for the $,but i would consider a kodiak 450...my 2 cents.

 

Buy the Eiger, My father in law just bought one a year ago, and it is an awesome bike at a really good price. Great power and traction, and it steers like a dream...even in 4x4.

 

Tough choice you have.. Both seem to be at the top of the 400 class.. If you want a bit more of a sporty bike, get the Eiger. But if your leaning more towards utility & want to conquer any mountain, mud hole, rock climb, along with great handling & smooth ride then get the 360. The Prarie has some nice features adopted from the 650 such as the diffy lock and sealed rear brake system, but the Eiger is a tough one to beat for the price. Out of the two mentioned, unless you need to do big rock climbs, go with the Eiger.

 

Back40,if you want a deal get the eiger,if you want the better all-round faster machine get the kodi 450,i have seen them run head to head and the eiger is close but no match for a kodiak(check pics) being 40lbs or so lighter helps...a p360 is heavier than both but has a locker,but the kodi has a locker also,but the suz is $600 less.looks like a tough D coming.

 

...Back40..Go with the eigher..our 360 Prairie was too under powered and too much vibration...we traded it in for a vinson 500 5sd...at only 200 miles on...love the vinson...dont make a costly mistake. Go Eiger

 

Back 40 the 360 is an awesome quad...I'm sure if you purchase one you will not regret it! I've owned mine for nearly a year and have had no problems. ATV Action just tested a bunch of the 400 class ATV's they had some really good things to say about both machines. In my mind the 360 looks a lot better and if you look around I'm sure you can find a 360 4x4 for the same price as the Eiger.

 

I have a Eiger and mine has been great, I would think the Eiger would be tougher and have more power than the 360.

 

Went with the Eiger 4x4 auto! Hope to take it for it's first spin this Sat. Thanks for everyones feedback! This is gonna be fun!!
