Sportsman500 all the way!....IRS, true 4X4, good MPG, nice choice of colors, proven and reliable. plus, there are so many accessories you can order to individualize it! lots of fun!

the Outlander has some nice features but it's love-or-hate looks and useless racks are it's downfall. resale value will suffer.

Yamaha better than Polaris I Don't Thing So.......!!!!

 

The Vinson rides almost as good as the sp500,and it has great lights,good power,nice speedo,stears easy. it's a nice 4 0000 er! How about that lime yellow,COOL !

 

If you buy anything other then the sportsman youll want to get some better tires for it.The sp500 already has a great set of tires on it...

 

macgiver,how many miles do you have on your VINSON??

 

eiger 400,vinson 500,kodiak 450,bombardier outlander 400,honda foreman 450,those are the contenders in the 400-500,the rest are pretenders...polaris engines are made in japan also,on the slow and heavy side of town!

 

Seems seldom mentioned but there are some big weight differences here:
Kodiak 450 is 551 lbs.
Suzuki Vinson 500 Auto is 604 lbs.
Polaris 500 HO is a whopping 697 lbs.
Depending on what your intended use is the weight is a good thing or a bad thing.

 

Hellfish your almost right the 600 and 700 motors are made right hear in the good old USofAl....Thats why I ride a 700
