My 00' Big Bear 4x4 has been a great performer. I easily have over 50 hours on it and it hasn't let me down yet. The plastic tabs holding the mud flaps behind the front wheel have broke (my fault) and aren't covered under warranty. Be careful not to hang up the mudflaps on a downed tree or root and you shouldn't have any problems. When the stock Maxxis tires wear down, I'll consider 25" Kenda Bear Claws or Vampires as the Maxxis tires haven't done real well in soupy mud and get clogged. Take advantage of the Yamaha Warn winch offer for $69.00. You will also have to buy a mounting kit and roller fairlead.
Night riding is a blast. The lighting from the halogen lights is super. Towing is very easy, whether pulling something on wheels or dragging a dead tree to your camp site or game on the rack out of the woods. The handling is very predictable and sure. I have never had a lack of power in any situation. I weigh 200lbs and I think my top, flat speed on hard packed dirt is about 45-48 mph. Before my purchase in Sept. 99', I compared the Bayou 400 4x4 and Honda Foreman (the rancher wasn't out yet). This BB 4x4 in my opinion was the best value and features for the price. Go for it!
