Default Recommended snow plow

I have a Honda 300 4x4 with Dirt Devil tires that do pretty well in the snow. Since winter is over I'm looking to buy a snow plow on sale. Should I go with a 48" or a 60"? The ONLY reason I want a 60" is because when plowing with the blade at an angle it's not going to clear the tires and I'll end up packing the snow by driving on part of it. I don't plan on doing a ton of plowing, just my driveway (fairly short), maybe a few neighbors' and possibly a few other folks' driveways for pay. Whatya think, does my 300 have the guts to do the 60"?

Thanks,
JC

Jerms,
I don't know what you get for snow in Illinois. If you get lots of big dumps (over 6 inches) of heavy wet snow you might need more weight and power to push the 60" blade. If not, then your Honda should be fine. I see plows on all kinds of machines and remember using a 48" plow on a Big Red trike years ago with good sucess.
About plows: I researched plows quite a bit and most people agreed that the Moose plow is the best built, most durable and easy to use. I was very impressed by the quality of mine. My wife thought I was crazy at first because I kept praying for snow. Now she plows before I get home from work and I have to go looking for neighbors to let me plow their driveways. Lots of fun.
