What to buy?

I know some people will disagree with this, but I really like the Polaris 600. Great pulling power and more than enough power to drive fast when you want to. Plus I think that Polaris comes with the best stock tire out there. You definetly should not have to change the Goodyear Raw Hide Grips any time soon. As for Honda, they are reliable machines, but in order to get into the bigger cc engine class I would go with the Polaris. Some may say that you should buy a Prairie, but if your not into driving everywhere fast and spinning the tires then the Polaris is the one for you. Don't get me wrong....the Polaris can spin the tires, but it only does it when you tell it to.

I prefer the rubicon for a working quad. The hydrostatic transmission is super smooth and the engine has enough power for towing or hauling. They do not have as many features as some other machines but then being of simpler construction they are lighter and have less to go wrong.Honda has established a reputaion of being very reliable and durable.

i would say check out the 2004 Polaris ATP 500 H.O. ...Polaris is great, this machine has a AWD/2WD/Turf selector. you noted all the different terrains. this would be a great feature. it also has a dump box on the rear. this would be my buy if i was looking for a new machine. the suzuki eiger is a bit smaller, but is beating out all the other quads in it's class. ride on!

Get a Polaris ATP 500 H.O. It is a very powerful bike. It comes with a drawtight hitch for pulling trailers and such. It has a lot of cargo space, and best of all it comes with a little truck bed that will hold 400 pounds and the bed also dumps with the pull of a lever. I have one and I love it. I bought mine for lots of work and a little play.

I also recomend the prairie, It only goes fast when you nail the gas. If stock tires are the deciding factor, then the polaris is the way to go, they have the best stock tires hands down. Best thing to do is ride them all and buy the one that feels the best. They are all good.

yep, get the prarie 650 and do about 100 miles for a full day on this
baby, your sore butt will let u know u should have bought a machine
with irs.. just can't compensate for irs with any straight axle machine.
Now if kawasaki decides to put irs on the prarie 650, they'd be a force
to be reckoned with..

HMMMMMM, I dont like Hondas all that well but for work? Honda is gunna get any Job done better with there low end Torque pushrod engines. The Honda 450s is the workhorse of all ATVs i think and they will last forever. My cousin has one and he has never changed the Oil in it since he has had it, and it has 1200 driving like hell miles on it. Honda has proven themselves to me.
