JUst found out Raceway park englistown is now open to public for riding on the weekends for 30 bucks a day.It will have tracks open for novice =expert wll have an ambulance on site w track marshalls.THey did ths because quads n NJ specially south Jersey is so popluar an the law is cracking down.In star ledger epa is happy to but what irked me is we pay taxes for public land an we cant ride on it.It figures the epa would be so happy.at least its 1 more place to ride an if its stops raining maybe I could get together w some of yall.its 1 more place to ride plus the owner of the track is lookng to get more racers intot he sport!

NO woods, just amile long track w hills an terrain to suit all levels of skills. It went on to say the track owner Mapp stated riding in the woods was more dangerous then being on a track?I wa slike what!!!THis started w the epa commisioner bradley campell issued a 0 tolernce policy on off roading on public lands last oct.Any 1 caught will have a 1000 buck fine an his her bike confiscated. This is socialist if ya ask me what are we payng for public land then?It went on to say said many off roaders have gnored the ban ruling, when cambell issued the ban he called for developement of appropriate areas for off roaders facilites by 2005 n NJ.to END the artcle jak kaskey a DEP spokeman said the department s encouraging the developement of such facilities while enforcng the off road ban on publc land. While I see it as very good I think we are gettng bamboozled here.I pay thousands of dollars of taxes a year public land is for the public agreed?an we cant use it when are people gonna wake up to the commanderring of our rights an money?
