If not the dunes BigDS, somewhere else around here maybe... We went out to the sand bars on the river in our trucks the other day.. I dunno if its the same place, but Hamels Park? It looked pretty good out there, but the cops dont bother yall?? Thanks man..

 

Havent been bothered by them yet. But havent been in a couple months. Did you see any atvs there.

 

There werent none when I went on the sand bar, but I passed by the other day and there were some trucks with dirt bikes leaving...

 

Try and pass by there on a Saturday or Sunday usually a few bikes there.

 

Every thing went kosher I had head stories about the course that it was gonna be difficult and crap some guys doing it for 17-7 years. Heck i studied everything read up on all instructions and followed direction of the Cheif Instructor he was great to work with ! The weather kinda sucked rainy then massively muggy , worse than here . But all in all it was cool they only do 2 instructor classes a year and you have to apply so i was excited that everything was cool and there are only 8 per class if every one showes up .


I'm checking with work to see whats up for the weekend highlifterwe'll see if it;s a trip to ride alone last trip i made there was maybe 15 people there . and as the day went on they left leaving maybe 8 of us 4 of us were friends and were freeriding all over the place that was the best .

 

I thought I would be in Breuax Bridge Sat but if this rain keeps up I will be staying home Mud under your fenders can cause them to break on the jumps....I hope to make it to The Dunes if I don't go.........Rook I sent my Application in on Tuesday, hope to her something from them soon.

 

Cool i waited for a Long time several weeks till i had my first live phone call . Good Luck . I guess i should try out the track here in Breaux Bridge Though I guess my last track experiences were not as great so i turned away from them but i guess i should go back at least for my son he wants to get out there one day . I'll know more about either tracking or duneing closed to saturday . I'd hope to make it mid day at least Satudray .

 

does anyone know of places to go riding in sand around baton Rouge?

 

I got my tires in today.. One of the rear wheels was on b/o and hopefully should be in tommorow. How is LA Dunes while its wet? LOL.... I dunno about yall, but were gettin some rain here in shreveport..

 

We just got a good shower in Breaux Bridge , but still isin't gonna stop work tomorrow , I'f i'm lucky Saturday i'll get 1/2 the day to my self . Maybe my Mrs will let me do a fathers day thing .
