Just FYI

Mack's Fish Camp was a good ride area until last Thursady when a ranger gave lightman dave and I written citations for tresspassing. He said the area is permanently closed and blah, blah, blah. I think he just was passing by and saw our trucks, went in to investigate and got lucky to find us -

Mudder, what side where you on? This really blows.

 

We live in Fort Lauderdale (West Broward) and we ride as much as possible.
Are there any good Miami ride areas left? I have heard something about Crome Ave
areas but I was also warned about secutiry issues there, never been.

Have you been to Fort Pierce? AKA The Jungle ... cool ride with lots of trails, 90 miles North -

I have developed a "Drive to Ride Ratio" that helps determine if the ride is worth the drive.
My ratio is 4 to 1 ... four hours of ride time for every hour of drive time.

Fort Pierce fits this ratio.
