Today is the end of one of my favorite riding areas. They are not closed but my buddy who rents a house that borders on Arapahoe National Forest has to move today due to his landlords inability to fix the septic system. He lives in Empire Junction right off the I-70 corridor. This place was awesome. Never had to load the quad up to go riding, just hop on and go. He had several trails within a few miles from his house. I used to take several rides up Spring Creek, Red Elephant, and Saxon Mountain. I can still ride there but, the luxery of having a house to stay in is gone.

I have also had some good riding on Rampart Range and Pawnee National Grasslands. My buddy is trying to convince me to take a trip out to Moab. I have a month long vacation coming this summer so I will have to go check it out.

Mark,
Moab is kewl, but not in the summer (or so I've heard) ... it's just plain hot there!

Check out the Quad Dusters web page for local ride info.
You just missed a trip to Squirrel Creek; but we go to Ruby Mountian for Memorial Day weekend, and Moab later in the year.
