whoever didn't show up, you missed a hell of a trip. Milford is definitely one of the best areas around. Lots of different terrain ranging from sand to rock to hard pack dirt to mudd. PLENTY of hillclimbs, some wide open areas for drag racing etc its a drive, but well worth it

It was a great time...at least until time came to leave
On our last trip out, I somehow manage to hit a rock JUST the right way. Didn't even feel it hit. Put a 2.5 in slice straight up and down on the sidewall of my near new tires. Thats right Tires, not just 1. ruined the front and the rear tire on the left side. Ok no big deal shake it off. I stand on the right side and ride it back to the truck. Get it loaded up and figure what the hell, its an excuse to buy new tires. Take out of there..get about 15 miles from junction city near manhattan and BOOOOOM.....my rear passenger side tire BLOWS out.. SOB
3 hours later and about 5 tire places, new tire..back on the road

3 fuggin tires in one day. rediculous

Want to give another thanks to mark and paul for helpin me out gettin back and forth to get the new tire. I'll make it up at the strip club

edit: read it again, ****. thats even worse, haha. now that IS some bad luck. sounds like something that would have happened to me =]
really sorry to hear that than, haha....

I had a great time. Milford has alot to offer. I enjoyed meeting the guys from the forum. Great guys to ride with. Hope we can get together soon and do it again.

Allen, A friend of mine might have a stock set of tires for your bike. He rode them for a few weeks then got Razors. I will let you know.

Hey ben..here is that link I was tellin you about. There is another one somewhere but I haven't found it. It has some better pics and I think a video too. But you get the idea on this one. It really doesn't look like he hit the stump head on.

Paul, looks like saturday would be better for me if you are still wanting to go. She wants to go to the new car show on sunday so riding is out. But saturday will work for me. I'll give you a call tonight. I want those tires for sure. I'm thinkin maybe he won't really want them and will want to get rid of all of em. If that is the case..I may want all 4. Be nice to have a couple spares for times like this. Maybe even the rims to if he doesn't want em.

Man, that DS must have rolled down a BIG hill and hit something solid at the bottom... and yet the headlight survived. The tabs on the 00-03 lights usually break if you look at them sideways.
I don't have my wreck pictures in digital form, but needless to say, it wasn't that bad.

I had a good time on Saturday. I was a little worried that I'd talk you guys into driving all the way to Milford and you wouldn't like it, but I guess i was wrong. Good to be wrong sometimes.
