Default Places to ride in Indiana

Is there anywhere in Indiana to ride besides Badlands or Lawrence County? They are both around 2 hours from me. I need to find somewhere closer, if possible.

Have you been to Spurgeon yet? It is just north of I-64 off the Lynnville exit(#39 i think). You exit off the interstate, head north and go through a 4 way stop. keep traveling north as you go through some S curves then there will be a county road(#1200) turn right there and go a couple of miles and the parking lot is on the left. There is a "state" side on the left that you must be registered and a "open"side on right of the road that you don't have to have #'s. For more info, look up Indianabowhunter on these forums, as he is a regular there. hope this helps.

A group of us went to Spurgeon this past Thursday and had a real good time. We only rode this North side of 1200 S due to the fact that none of us had our ATV's registered with the state. I think we all are going to get our numbers though, so that we can ride the South side and other places owned by the state (Redbird).

Haspin Acres in Laurel is pretty close to where you are. It is around Brookville (north of I-74). Check it out. it is a great place to ride.
