Brian, thanks for the invite to this awesome ATV riding area, & the free lunch at the open house, last weekend... the ATV Trail Blazers Club & the City of Waterloo have done an incredible job on this 180 acres, this park has something for everyone...watching the thick gooey mud holes ( not watery ), eat those big quads was really cool... good thing that "someone" was packing a winch... the hill climb area is challenging... the watery mud hole should probably have a sign posted "snorkles required" after watching that 650 Prairie disappear up to the handlebars... the MX sections were a good practice area for both the quads & the dirt bikes... & it was neat to sit in the shade at the picnic lunch, & watch the little kids on the tykes practice track...I went through my last Hare Scramble Race with out putting any dents in my rims, however after chasing one of my riding buds through a particularly narrow section of trails, my front rims are sporting ( 2 ) new fresh dings... the Waterloo area has a very nice place to ride now... I got to see Bob Fleege ( of 12 hour fame ) as well as the president of the national ATV association... keep up the work, talk to ya later...WAM

can you give directions to this park? my parents live in New Hampton, and it is only about an hour drive to go to Waterloo, down hwy 63, so maybe when my son and I are visiting, we can swing over there for a day of riding. thanks for any info you can supply.

 

95WOLV... the Park is just off of Highway 218 right in Waterloo... down a gravel road & next to the river... I rember I turned at an appliance store, but don't remember the cross street ... there is a nice picnic shelter / parking area / rest rooms ( I'll get you a contact though... )
