I didn't go down there this weekend, but I live only 15mins from The Badlands by the Wabash River, and it is very slowly receding. Usually when we get decent rains, alot of the trails at the park get flooded, but with the amount of rain we got last week, I'm sure the Badlands is a sloppy mess right now. Hopefully by Wednesday it will be alot better. Wish I could go, but I got family from Texas visiting all week! Have fun.

What are the badlands like, I just heard about them last week.
Is it a good place to ride sport quads?
My brother is going with his bigbear on the 19th, is there anything I should let him know?

The trails in the woods toward the farm fields are under water, but the dunes are good, and the orange trail is great. Also, the wooded area at the north end is extremely wet. The creek and the trails around it aren't too bad.

I was there Saturday.

Witti- heres thier website- Badlands It is very sport bike friendly, as well as utility, odessy, Jeeps, trucks, etc. They have a small drag strip/play area, many sand dunes, hard pack hills, numerous trails, a creek, you get the picture. Great place to ride. The only thing I would tell your brother is to bring a change of clothes, chances are he'll have that Big Bear in some deep stuff.
