why cant we get along????....we do...most of the time...and when we have opinions that dont match the concesus that tends to get people riled up a bit here...we are all different in our own way and that should be ok, but we are human and sometimes peoples feelings get hurt when it was never intended to do so, instead each and every one of us have our own opinions, preferences, and interests....thats what makes this such a great group. We will never stand divided, instead we stand focused, organized, and diversified.
how many people on just this thread alone look, post, read, and participate in other threads, forums, and chat rooms or groups??? I think the number will surprise you.
if you are talking about the other topic started Larry, it was not started to replace or compete with the original or largest ever..instead the intention was to cater to people who do not want to read about all the other details of our lives and just looking for information on WHEN, WHERE, and WHAT...
Good night all and happy riding!!!!
Laryy,
Did you get the Rappy all ready for Sandlake?
I need to swap tires this weekend so I'm ready to go.
Oil changed in all quads and airfilters cleaned after Easton.

Dinger has invited me down to Capital Forest anytime. For some reason he says his weekends are free. I was thinking either Sat. 21st or Sat. 28th of August.
Anyone up for those?

My only comment/concern is now it seems there will be duplicate posting because 80% of PSAR is about quading in some manner, rides, tech questions, purchases, etc...., with 2 threads about literally the same area, people will be having to post in both to keep everyone caught up in what the plans are. Seems a bit confusing and redundant to me but that's JMO which doesn't mean a hill of beans . Also as far as too many notices, that's easy to fix with just unsubscribing to the thread or just not reading the ones from those that don't interest you.
Again, not trying to be a PITA, just stating my little ol' opinion.....I won't bring it up again
Well, it finally happened..........
My first written article for Off-Road.com magazine was published today. This is the first in what will hopefully be many more to come.
If you want to check it out, Here's the link!

OK, I'm kinda shooting from the hip here. Not really thinking, just typing what comes to mind (as usaual).
Also tring to be diplomatic because I can see the two issues. I'm writing this to ALL of us, using current conversations as the starting point. Maybe to bring up converstion, and to see what (if anything) we can/wan't/need to do to make our "Group" better.
Dan's comments on starting another Topic:
I can see where he is coming from. There are others that don't really hang out on here much anymore because of all the other conversation besides just riding. They don't like reading through it all, which can be inundating at times (particularly arount the 1000 marks). Some people just are not into all the converstion, they just want to hear about riding. But, I'm guessing even Dan's new Topic will get to the point of having off topic converstion.
Val's response
I also agree. It could be kinda a pain to read back and forth between the two, and trying to get all the info and keeping it straight.
I will say I don't know what the answer is. But here is part of my take on why it is a issue?
This "Group" has been around for while now.
This "Group" has grown and will continue to grow, as far as number of people.
Due to this "Group" being around so long and doing all that we do with each other, we have become pretty good friends amongst each other. This leads to converstations, other topics, razzing, teasing, asking advice (ATV and non ATV topics), and just hanging out together.
This forum is a great avenue for us to do this, and most people enjoy it. It is a great way to keep in touch with friends.
In order to keep just the riding/camping info easily accessible for everybody (versus trying to read through 100 posts), we have tried a couple different options to streamline the particulars on rides and campouts.
Right now we have:
ATV Connection Forum
PSAR Yahoo site - with calendar and databases for riding info, pictures
PSAR MSN - Chat room and pictures I believe
2nd ATV connection Forum
As you see, I don't have any answers. WE as a group need to decide if there is indeed a problem, and if so what is the problem. If there is a problem, how can we make it better for the "group".
With any "Group", you can never please everybody or do exactly what each person wants.
But you can listen to and respect everybodies comments/opinions/input.
Sometimes agree to disagree, and move on.
Things may not always go your way, we all must understand.
It's how we handle those issues, that makes the difference.
This is a great group of people that get along well. We will continue to be that way.
When a controversy rises, it's how we handle it that shows what kind of group we really are.
OK, shoot away
Oh yeah, I didn't proof read this either, sorry.
