Now that wild sky (LIE) is dead for the year ,SAWS has notified us of a new wilderness proposal in the Mt. Hood NF in oregon, another "Legacy" proposal by a demo Oregon senator.
They won't stop if we don't stop them- Wild Lie is coming back too!

Loki and I will be at Coos Bay (Spinreel) Oct. 1-3 with a few other people. We are thinking about sand camping, but we have never sand camped before, and I was wondering if we need a permit and how strict are they about "adult beverages" out on the sand? We do like to toss back a couple cold ones after a hard day of riding. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I almost got to ride today, from my house to the go-kart track. But not enough gas in the ol' quad. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

Sitting here watching these guys ride their lil ol' karts around the track, boooorriiiinnnggggggg.
Maybe we can tear out the asphalt and make this a quad track, now that would be cool.

Yes you do need a sand camping permit, you can get it at the day use area booth.

"adult beverages" any drinking of alcohol on the sand is against the law, But so is speeding on the hiway, ya just have to keep an eye out and pay attention to whats going on around you....
