I got the front end of my 450 lowered yesterday! front bumper is 5" lower than when I started. Going to get Doug to build my rear link for me today!

I get to work on little man's machine today, I think he bent it again during his "minor" flip doing donuts in a wet field.
Thanxs Man I'll pass it on to him. If U were 6" to begin with now U must be only 1". How is that Eton for Ur boy? I looked at a Pred 50 for my little guy, and I want to look at the LEM, but I still have till at least next spring to get it, want to wait till he is 4.

We have a LEM Condor for our little guy & we've been pretty happy w/ it, the only thing is the front end is a little stiff so we grease it often, the stock brakes aren't the best but are any of them???? I still want to know WHY they DO NOT put a foot brake for the little ones????????? so we got a go cart hydrolich(sp) brake & modded that on there, along w/ an adjustable axle, extended the stock swinger, & new tires & rims, NOW it's a good quad We just a few weeks ago drilled the washer out of the exhaust & did some "porting" on the intake & WOW what a difference just that made!! I just came in from letting him ride int he front yard
the kid is a little SPEED FREAK geee I wonder where he got that from LMAO but he had her sideways coming outta the turns.................Mom is going to be a freakin nervous wreck this year @ Monroe!!!!!!!!!!! He did spin it out a couple times......................he was loving that! If we ever ride together you can check ours out if ya want, plus he'll be racing it this winter, i fyou go tto the races

Now for the lowering of that 450 YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH BAAAAAABBBBBBEEEEEEEEEE the lower the better, ours could plow snow or berms hehehe, I CANNOT wait to see it Bill!! Just somethin about a lowered quad that makes me............................oh I better not say anything

I disagree. You want it low yes, but if your arms point up at all it is tooo low. Swing arm and lower a-arms parallel to the ground max. That is with the rider on it.

Yeah I'll do his tires still. I'll try to stop by after work and get them. I'll give you those tamers, too.

Dinger and Cowboy

Nick was telling me that the last two times he tried to go from Rock Candy to Middle Waddell the trail was closed due to logging or other problems. I know ya'll want to ride from Rock Candy to Porter Creek then on to Middle Waddell but what if the trail is closed? What are ya'lls thoughts and what time do ya'll want to meet at Rock Candy?

I had a great time even though i launched the 450r about 20 min. into the day and landed wrong. the only casulties were a torn and bloody glove and a burn hole in the seat of my riding pants....but whats important is I got great air and good hang time....

Cheech- The Eton 40 is a great learners machine. It has a remote kill for it so you can shut the bike down if they don't want to listen or start to get into trouble. It also nearly doubles the speed when you unplug the rev box

Tractor Packer- My a-arm bushings are approx. 2" above the ball joints, when empty. I think its near perfect for my "slightly extended size" when I'm sitting on it.

Dirtymomma- We know, lowered quads make you feel funny inside, just like when you climbed the rope in gym class huh?
Doug treated me just great on the link, he even installed a grease zerk for that "aftermarket factory look"
it's gonna cost me some premix oil for that non yamaha powered "not the honda", machine that he rides.

Last couple times we went thru it was closed and one time we went on roads around the closed section some how and the next we went up a skid road and somehow ended back on the trail its all good. I would guess 8am meet for an approx 8:30 start should be sufficient? thats what we usually do. hang out, BS, get dressed, FUEL UP THE QUADS!!!, then troy messes with his carb a lil and we take off. a couple miles down the trail he messes with his carb some more and then we ride. It will be interesting having the trail tech for the capitol ride. Karl was callin me mr statistics. lol. were such sissys in the dunes out average ride time was 11 minutes. ride then stop and wait and ride and stop n wait n so forth. it kinda hoses ya on your ride time averages cuz if you stop for a few seconds to wait for somone to make a tree chute then that knocks down your average. grrrrr oh well its still kewl
