Nate has made it home! He's here until next Saturday. I think I'll take a day off work this coming week and we'll go play in the dirt! Whichever day looks the best in the weather forecast.
Hope eveyone has a good day riding today.
Next Saturday a road trip starts as Nate and I drive his truck to Fort Carson, Colorado. Wish we could take the quads, but I don't think the airlines would let me check mine as luggage for the flight home.

I was thinking of doing what Ron & I did 4 yrs ago, he was a crazed butcher & I was a cow LMAO Guess I better go look thru the costume bucket!! Well the boy and I are preregistered with S&D promotions for the horse poop nationals. (totally shameless plug). I was looking over the sponsor lists for some of the folks on here....Damn, I need to get serious and get to gettin'. this crap ain't cheap! Anyone want to sponsor a machine that will have three pilots this year? They include a rabid boy that has no idea that he is getting to ride a 450. An "old washed up gal" that plays with girls, and an up and coming fat guy that won't ever be. Hows that for a line up of jockeys?

Capital Forest / Rock Candy Ride
Cowboy, Dinger, RidinLCWA, $kllz and myself rode the North Rim #1 to Molly Porter #3 to C4000 then to the staging area, 35-40 miles, nice weather, lots of puddles and mud. I had a minor problem with my skidplate, thanks to everybody who helped me out there. RidinLCWA layed his Vinson on it's side once and rolled it down a hill once, no damage, no injury. I did bend a rim just a tad bit, no big deal.
I'd say we saw 5 hunters walking the trails, I waved, they waved back, no problem there. There was a small plane crash on B-8000 / B-8500, they found the wreckage around noon, female pilot, alone, recovered her body.
$kllz and his DS650 made it through, barely in some spots, I know it was tough on him, it's not a good Rock Candy trail quad, my hat's off to you, good job.
Cowboy and Dinger lead the charge through the trails, and just as I wanted it, I brought up the rear, nice and slow. I had a great time, it was nice meeting RidinLCWA and riding with him and $kllz. I never really got to ride with Cowboy, always a couple miles up ahead, but always waited where the trail split or at road crossing for us to catch up.
Thanks to all you guys for a fun day of riding and shooting the breeze after it was all over.
