Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

I started to leak oil out of the casing on the shifter side of the motor on monday on the track at RMC and it spent all weak in the shop and they put all new ceals and gaskets and it's still leaking. They couldn't find any cacks or anything. I have to bring it back on monday. Any suggestions?!!!!!

My sons raptor has an alien exhaust and is louder than 96 db, Will we be okay at Tahuya or the rock.

My Raptor has the same exhuast system, I've never had any problems at all. It seems like the only thing the authorities are interested in at these places is current tabs & spark arresters.LOL

Good day of riding @ Rock Candy, No rain, lots of big puddles & running water And no CRASHES

Tahuya is definitely more suited for your type of riding, lots of tight technical trails and some logging roads. At Rock Candy all the trails are closed until April, the ones you would enjoy. The logging roads are open year round, but are mostly fast paced winding roads, with other vehicles, hunters, mushroom pickers and others just out driving around.
So you have to be careful out there, it's a really nice place to explore, great views, and you can easily log 70 miles in a day. We went out today and rode 57 miles from 10:30 till 3:00.
Like BigDaddy said, they're more concerned with currents tabs than db levels, wouldn't worry about the exhaust.

All you have to do is go to the persons profile and most people have their name posted. How was your trip to the Oregon coast?

happarap yeah i was just to lazy and i am pretty sure that i know who the guy is.....

the dune trip was fun, got a lot of riding in on saturday and then had a small ride on sunday and then cruised home. my 12 tooth sprocket was awesome and i have lots of low end power which i like but i lost more top end then i thought i would. Pipe is going to be on it's way here soon and also do some jetting and maybe do some other small changes, maybe get a new back sprocket and get some top end back.
but it was great, i am going down on april 8th with the other guys ion this forum!!! are we still on for april 8th??? i like techtip101 got a yurt in the "A" loop in the honeymam campground. have to trailer guads up there, no biggy unless someone has room in the h loop to store out quads!!??

later

Thanks for the kudos, Sorry I didn't have more time to chat (probably talked your ear off anyways ). I really appreciate you guys dropping by. Do you believe I was out till almost 7:00 pm cutting trees for customers, I could barely see the tree let alone cut it. I talked to a couple of riding pals about Easton and they are up for it, just name the weekend. And again thanks for all the kind words.

King, I wish I had it that easy, I hate driving home wet and soggy

Ride safe.

I know it's alot of work, but if you want some top end back go back to the 13 tooth front and change the rear to a 41 or 42, remember, 1 tooth down on the front is equal to 3 teeth up on the rear. So you do have the option of not losing so much top end by adjusting the rear sprocket only. This way you will still gain more low end grunt over completely stock setup.
Tire size also comes into play, go to 22" tires and you will gain alittle more top end, plus the Raptor loves the bigger tires, that's what I run.
What pipe are you getting and what type of jets are you planning on installing? A few of us Raptor owners have alot of experience in this area and advice is free. We can tell you what worked for us so you don't beat your head against the wall with experimentation. Good luck.
