Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Raptorchick

Great news ya'll are gonna make the pizza feed, look forward to meeting you and Loki. Sorry to hear about the accident at the track, hope he's feeling better. I must say that's at least one reason why I'm not interested in racing, I can't trust the other yahoo's on the track, and you could be bumping and grinding with some 16yr old who doesn't care if you or he gets hurt. When you have children, mortgage, car payments and such you have think twice about what type of danger you're putting yourself in. Even in the woods and dunes I think twice about what I'm getting myself into, if I get hurt, I can't work, don't get paid, and the bills don't get paid.

I applaud both of you for doing what you really want to do, racing on the track, and keep following your dreams.
See ya'll Sunday.

Larry

WOW its cool that all these people will make it to the Pizza Feed Sunday on such short notice...

Yes Dinger it would be way cool to see you and Steph join us Sunday.

Bing~~ you will have to drive like you ride (VERY fast and aggressive) to make Onalaska, and Federal Way by noon...just a thought. We'll probly be there for a bit though so dont get in trouble trying to get there at 12. Do you have my cell number still....oh wait Bills list has it on there.

Rappyhapp...you could race without any problems cuz the way you take corners (wide and slow) there wouldnt be anybody else around to wreck and tangle up with.

Loki and RaptorChick, I wouldn't bother with Longview anytime soon. I just checked out the track today, and it is a flippin' mess! I would say that about half of it is underwater. I am on vacation this week, so I talked to Rob a little bit about holding an ATV GP, and went and scouted the property. Man, talk about drainage issues. The facility has serious potential though. Right now I'm in the process of trying to get quads into the Grizzly Hare Scramble in May. We'd like to see how they run this type of event before we commit to a date of our own this year. These suckers are a lot more expensive than your typical poker run, so we would have to have a really big quad turnout to even be successful.

Yeah baby, wide and slow, that's my motto on the corners, after that one incident at the Rock, freak out, hit the brakes, slide, slide, slide, man that scared the pizz out of me. One day when I grow up and get bigger I will ride the corners like you hehehe, but for now I will ride like the toddler that I am.
See ya Sunday.

HappaRap,
Looking forward to meeting you to.
Loki is feeling a bit better, but i think it's going to be at least another week or two before he is able to go back to work and maybe even longer before he can ride. He has to go back to the Dr. on Monday for a check up. I updated his picture page , and if you go to page 3 you can see that the quad is in pieces right now and will be a while before it gets put back together. Since his hand is messed up, he has a hard time working on it.

I was thinking about racing this spring, but this whole crashing incident has kinda put me off on the idea. I like to have fun and ride the track, but I don't want to get hurt. Yeah, I know, I'm a wuss!!

Yodaddy,
Yes, Longview has some drainage issues. From what I heard, they are going to be dredging a bunch of sand from the river bed to add to the track to take care of it. I think it's a requirement that they have to have all of that taken care of before the WORCS race, so they have a lot of work to do. The track does have potential, and is a very fun track to ride if it isn't to wet. They are also supposed to put new sand on the drag strip as well.

Bing, It takes about 2 hours to get from Seattle (Safeco area) to Onalaska with good traffic.
Rocky and Loubert and I will be down there tonight, and will be up early on Saturday ready to greet you.
Drive safe, and be careful on I-5 after Hawks Prairie (sp) near Grand Mound and after Chehalis. They will be out and looking for speeders.

Ride / Drive Safe
