Bear, does that riding area encompass the Simpson land near Lake Trask/Mason Lake??
Bing: Yes, One of the main roads, #2400 comes out right at where Schoomacher Creek runs into Mason Lake. Lake Trask is just north of there. Of course our riding starts from opposite end of #2400 and even before there is a Schoomacher Creek.

Well, here I sit waiting for the trio to show. Sean called and said that a well known Yammy won't start this morning. Some excuse about a choke cable that won't move. Seems the Vinson and the cat motors fired right up. Happa, Probably caused by babying the yammy by keeping it inside at night. Never be too nice to them, you want them tuff. My daughter just got home from work, she said warmer today than yesterday and monday. She should know, she leaves here at 5AM for work. The sun is out already and no wind here, will make the ride more tolerable. That is if the yammy ever runs.

You think you jokin about the quad on the roof of a geo metro? I HAVE DONE IT. I put ramps onto the front bumber and just drove over the hood right on the roof and strapped her down. we used to haul a 14' livingston on the roof of VW Rabbit. hauld 20 sheets of 3/4" plywood on the roof of a rabbit too them things are haulers. Well, Happa, Quad4Fun and his brother QuadRoller showed and we did an easy run of about 43 miles. Saw no other off roaders, did see 3 pickups and 1 SUV on the main road, Sean and I saw the black pickup up way to close and personnal. Ran some trails, climbed some hills and played on a giant iced over puddle. Sean, Quad4Fun got his Rincon on its side when he slide off the ice sideways. Later he put it nose first into the brush on a tight corner that I braked really hard for and he had to go around me and couldn't. QuadRoller had to be back for work at 2pm and old man Happa wanted to quit and Sean back him up. All in all, a fun ride and nobody got hurt and didn't break anything. Oh yeah Happa stuck the Rappy in a creek and I had to winch him out. Unfortunately the camera's battery died or we would have had proof.

If it snows like that, I won't have to work. I'll prolly be able to keep your quad off the geo.

Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

BEAR was right, put lots of miles on the quads today.
Thanks for the guided tour, that was a fun area. Thanks for having us out your way.

It really wasn't that cold, at least that we noticed. Great weather to ride in.
We zipped around a bunch today, some of us had more "zip" than others

Before the mud starts slinging, let just say this...............
There was no working camera on this ride.... oh wait, I meant
So there is absolutely no proof of the following
That a certain Yammy wouldn't start this morningThat a certain Yammy rider went fishing in the toilet for his keys that fell in as he was flushing. That a Red quad rolled on it's side when he hit the gravel while attempting to do a 1,080 while traveling across the iceThat a Certain Blue quad attempted to play in the water and had to be winched outThat a certain Red quad attempted to straighten out a 90 degree turn, and in doing so blazed a trail down the steep embankment. And trying to grab tree branches to help him bail off the quad and let it roll down the hill (unsuccessful though). Luckily he ran into a birds nest of brush and it brought him to a nice comfy stop. Then having the disgrace of having to be winched up the hill by another Red quad. That two certain Red quads about did some body work on a certain black truck that snuck up on them coming around a corner.

so with that said, and no proof of the above, it was a great, safe, uneventful ride today
Look forward to doing it again
