Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

It sounds like everything went well in Olympia today. That is good, the guys at the barn will be happy to hear that. Today was just boring as watching whale poop dry. We did have one person follow a customer in the store and start yelling at him for poor driving. He backed down fairly easy when 5-8 of us went out to his car and asked him ever so nicely to leave. After a few nice words of wisdom and some sign language he did leave. The popo did make an appearance about a half hour later for some interviews.

So TP,
Should I order a Stage 1 Hotcam for my quad even though I don't race at all?

Looks like I am grounded for this weekend. Came down with a super case of cellulitis in the left leg. Doc says no quad until the swelling and reddness is gone. This really sucks, but then again the weather does too, warm but very, very wet. Had over 6" of rain here today and the river is up and really rollin'.

Hey BigBear,

Sorry to hear that, hope ya get better soon.

You're not kidding, it's flat out raining.
Brett called me on the way home from work tonight. Said he was out on the water today, what a hoot that was I guess. Pretty nasty out there. Must be rough to get paid to go out and play in the waves

59 degrees.....glad I didn't buy a snomobile I can't see spending all of that money for a bunch of rain to ruin my "riding season". AHHHHH....Quadcycles.....Damn good investment, ride anytime, almost anywhere. How about that 59 degrees? Warm, wet, good raingear, throw the airbox lid on the old girl and off we go!

Walker Valley seems to be a major issue for our women and entry level riders. I want to reassure all of you, Walker is alot of fun, there are many easy trails, nice and close to the main staging area. They will be wet, but a low grade of difficulty indeed. I told Brenda last night of these easier runs, and I spoke with her about some not so easy runs that I will take her on, you too Kym! You just cant borrow a skid plate and not test the thing out! If we continue to test out abilities, things get easier with the more visits we make.

Keep those heads up, fun will be had by all!

I didn't mean to make any of the women worry about the trails at Walker. There are some fairly easy trails and of course logging roads. My wife had a mishap (mainly her fault, which she admits) and it soured her on the whole place. She wouldn't even try other trails and refuses to go back. That's the reason I won't be there on Sunday. It is the only day on the weekend that we get to spend together and since she won't go, neither will I.
Just like any riding area you need to stick to the trails that fit your ability.

Kym,
Are you up for P5000 on Saturday morning? That is if you get your quad fixed in time.
