For those of you that want a different way to get to P5000 in granite here it is. When you get to granite go pass Mcdonalds and stay on the main drag, go straight through the 4 way stop. The next 4 way stop take a Right (there will be a car wash on the corner), Go to the next stop sign which will be Menzel Lake Rd and take a Left. From there just follow that road for 5-6 miles like Rod said and the parking area will be on your Left.

I'm pretty sure I will be there. Joel are you and Jolene going to come riding? Did you call your brother to see if you can borrow his Land Cruizer? LOL He might actually want to come too. He probably wont bring the R but he would probably bring his bike. Let me know, if you guys aren't going to go.
I haven't called him yet. I'm afraid of useing his 300, and puting him on his 450. He would be cool with it but if it gets thrashed I wouldn't be able to sleep. I can't be responsible for his actions on his 450, so I don't want to put him on it.

Camper got an 05 Z 400!

Bill, I want to freshen the top end of my Blaster. Can you recommend a shop to bore the jug? Are you allowed to recommend one to me. Maybe if it's not the one where you work?
Rod- we send stuff out to get it done, I don't even know the places name. I heard that there is an aviation repair shop by the arlington airport that does a good job. I'll try and dig up there names. the two places I just mentioned are totally different.
I think the ones CB sends out goes to Victory MOtorsports if I remember right? $70 we had CB do the blaster before we found Dave!! He's a life saver,
I thought Doug folded under, bummer. He kicked me out of his shop because he couldn't get wheels and tires to me in like 3 weeks. After he swore they'd be in in less than a week.

Catching lings and rock fish used to be great back in the memory of time. I remember letting 4 foot lings go as "too little". God!, I'm old.
yeah no doubt. I have cought some real nice yellow eye but of course they endangered species so most the places i know for killer seabass and ling and stuff also have a few massive yeller eye and as a conscious fishermen being able to spot various structure and currents that attract such fish i have to stay away. i cought a 60 lb yellow eye in 700'+ of water. i have cought many lings over 60". lots of big fish out in the open water. Its kinda wierd how of the reef dwelling fish the Lingcods are the only ones it seems you can pull up from 3 or 4 hundred feet and they don't blow up. Yellow eye expload from 100'+ and most other rockfish usally 160+ expload. yellow eyes live for ever (115+ years) and are very territorial. and where their is good lingcod spawing grounds you find em.
never heard of fish exploding when you bring 'em up... i gotta see one of those some time, sounds gross.
Yeah i'd like to see it, too. I've brought up Kings with 135 feet of down rigger cable out. Those fishes didn't break.
