Welcome to the funny farm WingDude,

You are right, this is a very friendly group to "newbies"
But be forewarned, the novelty will wear off
.... once we know ya, find your quirks, you do something silly, roll your quad down a hill, etc etc............... You are fair game baby,,,,,, the gloves come off . If we don't find something to give you a bad time about, we'll just make something up

This group is awsome, almost like family. Everybody gets along well, riders of all abilities, we like all kinds of riding, as you can tell we like razzing each other, we do day rides, camping trips, dune trips, you name it we do it, well, I better take that last one back
Some very knowledgable folks out here. Can answer just about any question anybody would ever have about quadcycles.
Everybody is more that willing to help somebody out in need, you wouldn't believe the lengths some have gone to help others out it time of need.

Only a couple of WARNINGS (prolly more, but I'll stick to these most important ones)

I've been out there once, so we will need a trail boss.........It is alot of water and mud, with some wet mud on the trails, lots of good trails, a great overlook of Index (the wall) and loggin roads.

You da man, that's cool you looked that up. THANKS.

I'm actually going the the Go-kart shop I have connections with and getting #40 chain.

I"m also looking for some Douglas rims to fit the 16x6.5x8 NANKANG tires I'm getting

    Here's what I'm looking at.........

To go to the 16" tires(16x6.5x8), you will need sprockets. At this time, I recommend going to #428 chain size sprockets. It's cheaper in the long run. You will need a 26 rear and 13-16 fronts. For a stock motor and 16 tires I'd start at 15/26. You will need the other sprockets to fine tune AND in the future.
I use #40 chain available at any tractor supply,go-kart shop, etc. it's $12-20 for a 10ft length. There are 1/2 links available for this chain. You will find that very important when going to fit a chain.

I saw your post about 500 post ago talking about your new saying. So I figured I'd support your endeavor. Maybe we can get it big enough you can submit it to Websters Dictionary...hehehehe
