If anyone is looking for a generator, Costco has just gotten in some 3500 watt Nikota brand generators. I bought one. On the labelling it says 67DB noise level. So, I fired it up. Its not too bad but its not quiet enough for me. So, We travelled down to Hinshaws and asked to have one of theirs fired up. Their 2000 Watt is rated at 53 DB idle and 59 DB with a load. Well, Hinshaws was much much quieter than Costcos. And you are gonna pay for that quiet. The thing about the Costco Generator was the price. $289. A very good deal. 1 yr warrenty. But the weight is 100 pounds compared to Honda at 46 pounds. And the Honda 2000 watt is a thousand bucks. Boy do they need to pay for some advertising or what. But, oh well, I dont think I can live with the noise of the Costco one so back it goes and now I gotta save my pennies to buy a nice quiet one.

And the visual of some little kid grabbing Larrys head thinking it was a ball made Berta say...."whats so funny" from the kitchen.

And LARRY, I got the Rappy all fixed up last night. New handlebars, New Throttle housing (FOR THE 3rd TIME).

Nickli; You do realize that for each additional 3db you go up, the noise level doubles. Like 53db is half as loud as 56 db and 59db is twice as loud as 56db. The 59 db is 4 times as loud as 53db. So 67db is a whole bunch more noisier the 53 db.

Quad4Fun,

No Chucky in Federal Way, it's gotta be the Tacoma location. Works for us

Sorry you had to put yourself through that, I would just be crying, let me out of here. We're still working on the location, but Saturday around 5:00pm looks like the meeting time. When are you riding again and do you stick to sand or ride trails also?
We will be there, we vote for Chuck E Cheese, Tocoma, as well.

I am trying to get my wife to go check out S Prairie this Sunday. The only place we have ridden trails is Evans Creek and she does not much care for it. The Jeeps seem to tear up the trails pretty bad, is S Prairie better or worse than Evans Creek???

We (family) are trying to go back to Moses the last weekend of this month, depending on weather. We where there last weekend and had fun riding the snow.

We have the Yamaha EB3000, and it was well worth the extra $$$ for the sound. It is very easy to sleep with it right next to the trailer. Great generator.

There is a Muck E cheese at the corner of hiway 515 and 516. That is Kent I think.

The Kent location is 256th and 104th or 515 and 516 or The Benson and Kent Kangley, all the same location, just different names, it's in the Kent Hill Plaza. Val's gonna check it out tomorrow, see how their setup is there.

Are some of you northenders thinking of attending? That will help us decide the location.

Did you check out Runamuk0's pictures from South Prairie? He only got to take a few due to his breakdown, but the terrain you see is pretty much what the whole place is like. It's nothing like Evans (tear your quad up) Creek, I know for a fact your wife would like it, if she likes flat, smooth riding area with no cars allowed on the roads, she'll like South Prairie
