Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

wife picked up a cheapy Phillips from wally world, 198.00. It is a 500w. (damn apartment life)

Kym- you'll dig it now, I'm putting the rest of the big stereo out in the garage......You have a couple of choices for tunes now while getting the "wrenching" done. I'm gonna have to put some astroturf down now and get a couple of recliners, and a fridge / freezer combo for beverages and goodies.

check it out, I'm officially a site supporter........I had to jump on the bandwagon.

Hey all you Southies.............
It sounds like us Southies can mass in force and
out-number the Northies at their own "Northender Pigout"
hehehe......Sounds like a challenge huh!!!
whatcha Southies all say?? Sounds like a few of us are going?
Would be nice to meet those way up at the North pole
We'll plan on it as long as the kids don't have a practice that day, or I have to work.
I'm crossing my thumbs........Oh wait, I meant fingers

Hey, just gonna throw this out one more time.

For those interested...............

OAKWOOD ARENA........

Can be rented for 4 hours (website says 3 but my neighbor was told 4 hours).......
It's $500 for up to 15 riders (not sure if you can squeeze more in)
They do this on the Saturday that they have practices. You get the track from 0900 to 1300.

Do the math, that is pretty cheap for the amount of track time you can get in 4 hours.
They charge $30 for their practice, and you only get about 7 practice sessions at about 5 minutes each.

How fun would that be...................
We could have our own little races.......challenges...or whatever.......

Just an idea....................................

The dates they have available are:

February 19th
February 26th
March 12th
April 2nd

Also, some cool news.

They are making a track up in Bonney Lake area.
Also will have a seperate kids track.
I heard this at Oakwood this weekend from the guy helping to build it.
He said is should be open and ready to go by summer.
He didn't say much else, so I don't know any other details except that he said there will be some big jumps.
Not sure how long of track, what kind, etc.
Sounds like fun.

I got mine at Target. Audiovox, 600 watt, $159.99 on sale. I bought a surround system when they first came out. It was a Sony, 5 speakers, no woofer, I think it was 300 watts and it cost something like $500.00! It crapped out a few years ago and I did without until Christmas.

the track in bonnie lake is dirty dawg MX, they've been fighting to get permits & stuff from the county for the last 3 years... and it looks like they will finally make it. it's a MX style track, the loop is about 1 mile long. i rode it about 2 years ago on a practice day when they were first trying to get started... fun track.

There I go again, me and my big mouth, one of these days I'm gonna learn to keep my trap shut around the wives, I do it everytime and continually stay in trouble for it, I'm sorry Stan, I'm just a bad boy

this does sound like a blast of a roadtrip!!! i'd have to get a set of tires just to do it. I have a brother/his family in las vegas that i need to go see anyways... good excuse, huh! my only prob is that's the same month as the payette worcs race and a 2-race weekend (GPs) at goldendale... not sure i could afford it!
did they go over fees & such on the website? looks like quads only run saturday.

Hi there everyone....

I was told that this might be a good place to let everyone know that I will be holding a big two day supermoto event, and I WILL BE INCLUDING QUADS!!

Southern Nevada Supermoto presents The STATELINE SUPERMOTO CHALLENGE - APRIL 2 & 3, 2005

Buffalo Bills Resort & Casino - Primm, NV (40 miles south of of Las Vegas)

This race will be a true 70% asphalt, 30% dirt layout!! Look forward to a great course designed by Marche Karger and Don Canet. Don's background is roadracing, Marche's is motocross and off-road, so it should be a blast!!!

$4,000 Open Expert Purse (Paid to 10th Place) Thanks to Joker Machine & Supermoto Racer Magazine

Saturday Schedule:

Open Practice (8am-10:30)

Joker Machine & Fast 50's XR-50 Races - All classes (11:00am-2:30pm)

Quad Races (2:30pm-4:00pm)

The CHEETAHS (yes CHEETAHs) Supermoto Team Race (4:00pm-5:30pm)

The Team Race will be made up of teams of 2 riders per team. Riders may each ride their own bike, or share a bike. If two bikes are used, both bikes must have the same number on all 3 number plates. Riders will switch off every five minutes. (this will be a great way to get the track dialed in if you aren't able to make practice)
