I dug out all the paperwork this morning, I have the measurements for the neighborhood lots, I'll step it off with my size 12's, if it's close enough, it's good enough. Thanks for the input
Just keep the neighbors happy and don't start any disputes. That's the important thing.
Good luck with it Larry!

Originally posted by: Red400EXRod Larry, even if you get a survey and it shows you have a foot more land than you thought you better get ready for a fight with your neighbors. Especially if it has been fenced for over 7 years. Think of it this way. Would you want to give up a foot or so of your yard if your neighbor had a survey done that showed the line a foot INSIDE your fence line?
I'd say rebuild where the fences were and keep all the neighbors happy.

Another idea for you Larry is to go to the county and get a print out of your legal description. You can probably do it over the net. The only reason i say this is because when i went to the county to get my building permit for my garage back in June of 2004, which is STILL NOT BUILT!! They told me that my legal description on my title was WRONG! Um and your telling me this because?? Is what i basically asked/ told the guy, I told the guy what am i suppose to do about it, it was recorded that way. Basically it said that i owned 5 acres going west to east, instead of north to south. Just compare the descriptions and make sure they are all the same.
