What is the bottom line on the ride over to the East? I am considering the trip but I have to work the dates and work bla bla bla...I tried to keep up on the posts but lost it.

Good Luck with the CDL, but hope you dont expect to much more money just cuz you have a CDL (unless your company gives you time of service consideration). Most companies dont like to pay CDL drivers to much (I havent figured out why though. Hope you are atleast getting your Class "A"?? Dont limit your opportunities. Ok Rant over

Anyhow, give me the bottom line on the trip for consideration...

It's Saturday, alot of people planning on going. Meeting place and time not yet set, we'll get it all set up this week, but like I said before, if the pass is crap, we're riding this side of the mountains, or atleast BigDaddy and I are.

I am getting a class A plus my Bus certification.

 

HappaRap I have my class A, had a class B and when I started with the city they gave a little class and course and voila now its a Class A, The Firefighters on the forum should all have exzemptions(sp) I think from the state to drive their rigs.

 

Cripes, I didn't realize we where shooting for 3,000 by the first of the year!

 

Great, that might be good. all that snow would attract my Bronco and my Quad. I wouldn't stand a chance, they both love the snow so much they would pull over somewhere and beg to play. Probably wouldn't let me make it to Beverly, unless I convinced them she was really really cute and they could ride all day. Ooops, I didn't mean that.
If you don't go, let me know where you may ride Saturday.

 

Well I can tell ya, I was in Easton at 230 this afternoon, and I did 55-70 all the way there and back...it was snowing but the road was pretty cleaned up....Kudos to those WSDOT guys and their high paying killer plowing job.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]
