Did you guys see the bad wreck w/ the drag banshee & 400?? I seen all the ambulances ect going to the sand & got a sick feeling so went to look for the boys THANK GOD it wasn't none of our group!! Sounds like both riders will be OK thats good!! Stupid thing is I heard they may site the gal on the banshee for excessive speed?? Bummer!! If anyone should be sited it should be BOTH seems fair to me but oh well I'm a "rookie" sand rider LOL, thats what some old man told me as I'm sitting on the hill climb w/ a thrown chain [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] but he helped get it back on & point me back down hill LOL

I heard a 400 was involved in that crash. DJ had my quad about an hour when the sirens came. 3 hours later my quad was still gone, I got butterflies. Thats why I came over that one time, I needed to see it. Then it wasn't with your quads, DJ says its over there, and I'm like yeah right I need to see it.

I don't take them apart to wash 'em. I use soap and water then spray WD-40 on the bare metal. That usually is good enough. The Predator muffler is going to rust through, however. I guess fromm being hot and having sand blast against the side of it. It is worn to bare metal(rust) all over. I don't think there is any help for it. I'll have to throw it away and get a new one when it fails. It will be the first time replacing a muffler that is actually bad.

If Karl gives me his LTE's I'll run them if not I think I'll get an FMF Q. I am tired of loud exhaust, swetting a sound squeeze. The 450 is fast and it's quiet. The way it should be.

Why cant they develop a silencer that is quiet yet still powerful? Like make a fatter silecer chamber or sompin?

The FMF Q is as close as it gets right now. I think they are trying to get them quieter but its taking a while.
