Moved to Arlington in September and just getting back into quad riding again . Stopped riding for almost a year and I realize I miss it a bunch! Lost touch with the people I used to ride with and would love to join people for for rides in the area, Moses, Sand Lake, Florence, etc. Following the thread here, looks like there are quite a few riders in my area. I am trying to drag other friends into the sport, but I can't wait that long to ride!

I LOVE the Oregon dunes, but that isn't always financially feasable, so since I have finally gotten a clue and decided I'd rather be able to ride than not, and I do enjoy trail riding, so...where are some good areas to ride a little closer to home that everyone likes? I haven't been to Walker yet. I have been up to Granite falls a couple times but not very far in. I've been to Reiter once. Just curious.

Welcome to the thread LdyJay- Yea a few of us live the BIG LIFE here in A-town. Me, my wife bbbtats, Cargirl, and Dazeys, all are "local". A bunch of folks from Marysville, Snohomish area as well.

I know what you mean about the dunes & $$, we just got back from Sand Lake, went for a 5 day trip over Presidents weekend, had a GREAT time LOTS of people!!! I'd go all the time if the $$ was there for it!!!
We are having a HUGE ride @ Walker Valley on March 20 sponsored by Cycle Barn, I am the President of the CBHRCA(Cycle Barn Honda Riders Club of America) NO YOU DON'T HAVE TO OWN/RIDE A HONDA!!!!!!!!! We get together about once a month for rides, if you want to shoot me your email I can put you on the list so you can recieve the newsletter to keep you up to date ect.!!!

If you would like we are having a potuck get together this Sat. night @ Maggiesboy place in Arlington [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] not too far to drive LOL, it's @ 6pm bring a dish or something come hear riding stories, ivds ect meet GREAT people!!!!!

Hey how do I measure a rim????? Quad4fun is looking for some for the 80 & I found one, I'm sure the other one has to be here somewhere LOL [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] just don't have a size on them, they are Douglas .125 blue label I KNOW that much, can't find the size ANYWHERE though [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

Oh that sucks that Jolene might not be going. Well anyways you do know that he is racing in Odessa that 2 and 3rd before he heads over there right? The last time i talked to him he said that he was going to race on Saturday and then leave early Sunday morning and meet us there. Plans might change from now until then, we still have a month. I can't wait, i'm already getting the itch for some big hills and good sand with no razorbacks!!
