I found a 2000 LT80 with aftermarket exhaust in excellent condition that I am going to go look at tonight for my daughter. What do you all think? I am not real mechanical so I dont really know what to look for and ask.....HELP!!! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

They are calling me back in just a little bit when she knows what time hubby will be off work tonight. After 6pm for sure. It is in Lake Stevens, but I dont know exactly where yet.

She says it has new starter and wasnt ridden last 2 years cuz starter was out but they just replaced it......

Those quads are pretty much bullet proof.
How much do they want for it?
What kind of pipe is on it?

Ask if they have done any other modifications to it, like the Carburetor, motor, clutches??????????
I'm sure they did, but ask if the restrictor in the exhaust and carburetor have been removed.
See if they run the oil injection, or if they blocked it off and pre-mix of their own fuel?
Does it start right up with the Choke on?
It's a 2 stroke, but see how much smoke it blows.
Ride it around and open it up. See if it loads up much (that can be fixed really easy if so)
How has it been ridden.... has it been jumped a lot?

I wont get to talk to hubby til later tonight. Wife only knows that it has aftermarket pipe on it. I printed out all your questions to ask. They are asking $1500 for it. NADA is $1330. I know how hard these are to find, so I am jumping on this one right away.....
