Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

RealtorRider,

If you need to haul the truck back, let me know. If you find a car hauler, I'll tow it. I've got a 2001 Dodge dually with a cummins and a few extra goodies. That sould do the trick. We'll just need to sort out times.

Wow guys! That sounds like a adventuresome trip. I'm glad everyone made it home safe and secure. I'd like to hear this story in full detail at the pizza feed! I'd ask Hap, but he'll be too worn out to talk much, plus, we don't allow yakkin'!

Hey everyone,
This may be old news to some of you or all, but I just got back from RMC and I guess they are not letting quads on the track anymore only on days that have flat track, no more jumps. I talked with one of the guys that works there, he said some guy crashed and went into a coma. Another guy said that he past away! Just thought I would let you guys know.

Yam
This is sad! Just one guy and it messes it all up for the rest of us. If it was a guy on a dirt bike it would be another day.

Yodaddy what do you think?

I don't want to sound heartless or anything. I really enjoy getting a work out there. Man this makes me very angry. Too say the least.

Man, that's tough. I have mixed emotions about quads on SX style tracks. I raced bikes in all kinds of arena's; motocross, flat track, desert & woods hare scramble's, and even supercross. Never in my life have I been pounded like I have when I began racing quads on the motocross tracks. Then again, I love to race, and it is extremely fun. The tracks are having a tougher time insuring quads because they crash badly! Riding quads recreationally is an almost never-crash affair, which makes it a fun family sport, and even racing off-road is relatively safe, but I feel you're taking your chances when you hit a jump filled mx track. Some tracks are very quad friendly, ie Ward Creek or Washougal, where they let the natural terrain be the challenge, but fill it up with peaked doubles and triples, and there are very few guys who actually belong out there. Loki and Raptorchick are probably gonna have my a$$ for posting this way, and I'm sorry, but if I'm not mistaken, Loki just ate-it recently. If you ask me, and a lot of you are definitely not, stick with the off-road stuff like hare scrambles where you have room to correct mistakes.

John

ps. Bing, if you feel this is damaging, get rid of it immediately!
