Well, we've had 2 out of the 3 day weekend and the weather has cooperated with us. Now all we gotta do is hope that we can get one more to go along with the plan. Had a goood old fashioned family get together today. 15 people all were rubbing their collective stomachs after the host (me and Berta) laid out a feed for the troops.

I cant believe how slow the thread has been running lately. That only means that our posters are having a good time doing whatever it is they are doing.

Have a great 4th PSAR!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your dog, Glenn. She was a sweetie. Fireworks can be brutal on pets.

Yesterday morning, my mother informed me that fourth of July is at my house! EEK!

So, we spent Saturday picking up the house and were going to spend today cleaning and getting the food ready, but nooooooooooooo...........

We got the bright idea that instead of repairing the back fence, we should put up a new one.

From the time we were shopping, through demolition (including running back to rent the jackhammer ) to leveling to post setting, to putting up the last piece of wood, it took us 14 hours of pretty much non-stop work. My yard is a mess! and I have family coming over tomorrow at noon - What the heck was I thinking?!? There's still a little left to do with the cement blocks, but it looks 1000% better

Oh well, they're coming to see the boys and I anyway, it's a good thing they love us lots. I'll just set up the chairs and table in the front yard, it's done and looking good

Have a great fourth everyone and remember what it really means. Our founding fathers were considered reactionaries against the system, yet look at our great country. Remember free speech and the right to speak our minds, whether it is complementary or critical of the powers that be is the legacy they left us.

Wow, Marci!!!

14 hours for a fence from demo to rebuild? Dont let Larry Find out about that. It'll throw the curve way off!! I think 14 hours is about the average for each board my bud Larry has screwed in!!!! Who Loves ya Happa!!!

Glenn,

So Sorry to hear about your Lab.

I know how these pets get so scared when the pops and bangs come around this time of the year. Our last dog was petrified by the noise. Time will help the healing process.

Take Care, ok?

OMG Glen, I'm so sorry..............
It's hard to lose your pets, especially so tragically.
I don't think I had the privelage of meeting her,
but I'm sure being a part of your family she took after you all, and was a super dog.
My heart goes out to you guys, I'll be thinking about ya.
Take care.

Gee Glenn, Im so sorry to hear about your dog. I lost Katie's sister a few years back. That was hard on us. Labs are special. Our prayers are with you all. Also , I hope all is going well on the drag bike.

Look for me in the Alba group this year camping in a (heavens forbid!) Motorhome. I got a new one for a little better creature comfort. Stop by for a ride. Also, jr just got his new predator 90 on Friday, racing it around on the farm.

NW Cutie, did you find a spot at dunefest? Hope to see alot of you down there! PM me if you are having any problems finding a spot. Motel or sand camping.

The Bear
