I'd sit and watch someplace, apartment complex would be kinda hard to do surveillance unless you had at least 3 people, depending on the layout.
Been there done that, but not at an apartment complex.

maybe in a couple weeks,,,we want to get back that way and do some camping too
Hap,
The road is CLOSED!!!!!!!!!! There is not a culvert going in. There is a bridge going in. I remember that swath that went across, forgot about that. The bridge is right up the hill from it. The Swath is probably the reason why a culvert wont work.
The bridge is on the big right hander just after the houses.
There are signs everywhere saying its closed.
I guess you can close B-Line.

Well that just means you gotta go across and up up the Rock candy trail and cut back down the B line to get on the North rim 1. minor detour. but still dooable
The trail to Waddel is open as are the roads heading south (C-8000? or sumpin like that). You just cant go west, unless somebody made a singletrack trail in the trees wider. Might have happened but I didnt check it out. I was getting the old lady some seat time on the 700. She's still pretty green. I stayed on the roads for the most part.

The road that goes past the house is B-Line which is a major road which can't be closed, they had been putting drainage pipes in some time ago, but you could still cross the road. Thanks for the info
Originally posted by: TBULL97 Hey everyone, In case some of you dont know. Dont go to Rock Candy if you are planning to go west up the roads or the powerlines. Powerline trail has a gate, which is now broken, and no trespassing posted. There is also major forest road construction on that road that follows the lines to the west. Also There is a new home owner across the street from the house just past the trailhead, probably the reason why the trail has now been closed. Just lettin yall know
Yeah Larry, I remember you guys making my poor little 400 (376cc really and with the biggest and heaviest frame in the group) busting it's poor little butt to stay up with you guys until we got on to trails a few times. But the creek wash out was real nasty looking. Maybe we need to prefab a bridge after a little survey and drop it in there. What do you think?
Hey HappaImightnotbethefasterbutI'maDIYkindaguy,
To lazy to open an e-mail right now, so you get a PM (Public Message)....
Have I got a deal for you
For the low low price of.......................FFFFFRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE
Brett built a 10x12 shed.
He's got the complete set of plans (pretty good ones to actually, just like building plans you would get) and a lumber list. (he got it off the internet)
He then took the lumber list to 4 places and got bids.
He then took the lowest bid and got McLendons to beat it(surprisingly)(they also had a 20% lumber sale that week)
It was WAY cheaper for him to do it himself.
You have the choice of doing a slab (best choice) or wood floor(probably cheaper).
I know he would be more than happy to give you the plans to use.
I'm pretty sure they built his in one day, with 3 guys
With the GREAT cooking and baking abilities of your LOVELY and BEAUTIFUL HOTTIEWOOD........
And of course some "special beverages", for after the construction is done of course......
I'm sure we could round up a couple knowledgable guys to hammer it out for you in day.
Sound like a plan ????????????
Want more info, you can shoot me an e-mail..........

Hey Master Karl,
Did/do you ever rund paddles on your Scrammy?
Do you think they would make much difference at Winchester?
My brother is going to Dunefest with me and wants to stop and get some paddle tires.
We will probaly go to the Les Schwab in Florence and get the Sand Stars or Sand Sharks.
Do you, or anybody else, have any thoughts on the Scrammy with Paddles?
Wingy, I thought I heard you say you don't have any and you don't use them at Moses.
But wondering about the climbing and stuff at the bigger places in Oregon.
Thanks a Bunch
