Hell Bear, you got more ponies in your mower than your quad, maybe you should ride your mower on the trails
Larry, I told her that with the hill our yard is on I needed major torque for the hill climb. At least she didn't get me a 24 hp one. The ground clearance is even worse on the mower than on your quad.

Hap,
You'll have to try it some time. A huge gravel pit with some hills. some easy trails and some real nasty trails that have mud hole that came up to my racks (my kind of trails). You can ride around all of the really deep ones. Every one parks in the gravel pit like a circle of covered wagons.
I have a 18 Hp V-twin riding mower that I haven't started in over two years that only has about 10 hrs on it. My lawn is only about 30'x40' so I just bought a small push mower. Takes about 10 mins to mow.

We want to go camping and riding next weekend, possibly at Tahuya. Whats our best bet for a good camp site?

Nickli and Bing are the experts on camping at Tahuya, I do know there are atleast two camping area's in the dirt with nice tree cover or you can camp in the main parking lot. I don't believe there are any hookups or water, but there are out-houses.

Follow the signs for Spillman campground (which is not far from the staging area (elfendahl) and on the backside of spillman (which has water only) there is a campground called Kammenga Canyon. It is located right on the tahuya river trail and is a bit more secluded and private being located at a dead-end. I think there are 6 established camps and 2 pit toilets.

map of tahuya

it is off goat ranch road
