Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Originally posted by: wingdude I don't know Larry, it is still pretty hot over there. 104 last weekend(before last), and 98 this past weekend. You might melt, or maybe BigD will. If we do not go to Easton, I would be up for another trip over(3rd time in 3 weeks). I will let you know.
Well, I know the forecast can change like the wind, but, Seattle's calling for 72 Sunday with alittle sprinkle, that means mid 80's at Beverly, I can handle that

Bag Easton, you don't want to choke on dust, I haven't seen you guys in awhile, make the trip over, I'm sure Mr. Big will make the trip, besides, I want to show him how a 700R can beat up on a YFZ

Randy,

I'm going to Beverly Sunday come Hell or High Water

What time I get there depends on who else is going, I like to get there early, usually by 8:00am

All I know is, with all this crap going on with my truck, I need to get away, have some fun and forget about things for a day
Hap cool, I just talked to the wife and she's up to it so we'll be there, I'm looking forward to it. Now I just need directions
I-90 East to Vantage, go over the bridge, turn right, a mile or so the road will split, stay to the right, that's highway 240, it follows the river, go past the dam and look for a green sign to your right that says Beverly ORV Park, you'll be turning left at the sign, drive a couple of miles and you'll see the dirt, gravel road to your right, you'll see what seems to be sand, yep that's it, all 300 acres of it, it's clean sand, a good place for breaking in the quad.

I'm sure somebody will give better directions, so jump in PSAR Brothers and Sisters

Thanks! doesn't sound to hard to find. How far from the nearest store/place to eat is it?

Wingdude, hope you can make it since we didn't get to meet up at Sand Lake

Once you drive past the dam and get to the Beverly sign, there's a store about 1/4 mile further up on the left side of the road, that's the closest place to get store bought grub and gas.

Beverly is small, no big hills to climb, but the sand is nice and there are some nice trails through the trees to run around, most people run paddles, but it's not necessary. There's a great dragstrip for you to beat up on those pesty YFZ's, I still need to break mine in, so I'll have to wait awhile before putting them in there place
