Mornin. Almost Noon or whatever it is. Hunting was good last night. Didnt fill my tag however. I was real tempted to pull a lil OPP manuever. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] but i behaved.

 

Not sure who is lost up in arlington. I just look on the everett herald and arlington papers and didn't see anything. Do you need directions on how to get to arlington? Or should i say do you have them written down? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img] Sorry i had to say it.

I guess we just got cancelled. Not sure what the deal was, but apparently the guy had checked into a motel or something.... That's funny.....

 

Well i just got back from Local 66. I dont' know how long i drove around trying to find this place and it was right in front of me. I asked the front desk, if she knew of any positions that were open for a material handler. She said that she couldn't give me any info until i paid $20, showed drivers license's, and proof of insurance. Then she would give me a print out of the jobs. Not sure if i should do it or no, what do you guys/gals think? If it's good pay and i dont' have to drive FAR AWAY to work i would probably like it. Driving during work hours is not a problem, its to and from that is.

 

there is always a possibility that you get set up with a shop up north by you, if your arent having good luck with the other job searches it might be worth the 20$ just to find out if there is an opening near you. there are also places that are like temp agencies but they find jobs for people with more skillz and they place you in full time permanent jobs. i signed up with one and the next day they called me with an opening somewhere but i had already found a job with the sheetmetal company i work for now. i think this was the place i went thru

if not just search employment agencies in the online yellow pages and there are a few in snohomish county.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

If they are a reputable and good company, my guess would be that they do that so that they only get applications from people that are serious. That would show that you are serious about working there, thus you just might be a good employee. Cuts down on the people just going from business to business and putting applications in all over the place and will just take whatever they get.
