I'm finally finished up with the Rappy, last ride on her was Evans Creek, June 5th, boy, there was alot of little things that needed attention, but she's ready to rock n' roll.
I'm going to the Deli in Littlerock on the way to breakfast, see if I can pick up a Capitol Forest map, that's the only place besides DNR that I've seen them for sale, hopefully they still have some.

Larry, I stopped by there about 3 months ago and they said that nobody from DNR every brought them anymore. Of course the dumb asses never bothered to call and say they would like some more either. With more time you could get DNR to send you one or down load it off their website for free. Try here for the maps.

I do have a laminated copy of the downloadable map, it's in two seperate sheets, I just like the colored map, alittle easier to follow the lines, but this map will defintely do in a pinch and atleast it's waterproof

I have two of the Capital maps. Got one in Littlerock 2 years ago and when I couldn't find it ordered one off the internet from DNR (then of course the first one showed up). I have a zipper folder in my rack pack (Ute's have many advantages) with maps of Capital, Tahuya and other riding areas in Washington and Oregon. That way I always have them and have to work at losing them. Hope your ride went well. I'm on a hunt break and will be back after lunch.
