Old PSAR thread - please see the new one
I won't be at Tahuya Saturday, you guys have a good ride. I still think the Overland to Mission to Tahuya River Trail would be the best, just don't take the Tahuya River Trail all the way to the Horse Camp, cut back to the main road after you cross the bridge, they'll be a sign, stay to the right, Good Luck.

Ok, with that being said, if valves are worn is that why they would possibly got adjusted poorly? If so, How much are new valves for a badger?

POORLY ADJUSTED VALVES CAN AFFECT COMPRESSION.

That's how i understood the paper work when i got it back from the dealer. When the compression is set correctly then it will start right up. As for a CDI, i couldn't tell ya if it had one until i get home. I would think it does. As far as the valves, when the compression is low doesn't that effect the valves?

The compression is a mechanically set by the piston and cylinder head. If the valves are closing all the way the compression can't change. If valve lash is going bad as fast as you say, then they need to quit adjusting and start changing parts as something is wrong big time. Oh yeah, adjusting the valve will not change compression unless the valve are held open (I never heard of valves adjustment going bad and holding valves open, unless something broke). The valve can affect compression if they are not closing all the way. Compression will never effect the valves. I think you need to find a shop that knows what they are doing, cause these guys you are going to ain't gittin' er done.
