Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Dang thread won't let me quote anything. I must be on restriction. Anyway, MB is being kind enough to tinker on the Wolvie and get it in tip top running shape, rather than the rattle can it is right now, which is mucho appreciated. He da mayun.
The z400 was in desparate need of a gusset kit. I have had a hairline crack on one of my motor mounts for the past few rides and been riding on the hope it wouldn't come apart. It didn't sooo, since it had to be torn all to pieces, I dropped some pieces here and some pieces there for a little of this and a little of that.
I opted for that rather than dropping waaaaay more coin on the new(not ever going to be released)Z450R. Haven't gotten all the pieces back yet. Hoping for a break-in day ride at Sandlake sometime before Christmas. I really didn't realize how many pieces that thing has to it. Geez, it's been a project. Gonna be a blast though.

After racing mine over in winchester bay and getting smoked by the stock kawi 400's i think i'm going to do something to mine. I had to jump on Justin's 700 so i could get some courage back in me. LOL I'm not exactly sure what i'm going to do but the big bore kit sure does sound nice!

Oh i also talked to Jim (JS racing engines) and he quoted me ($100) that he would check out the badger and if need to install parts if i need him too (plus parts & labor). I might just have him do my z400 too. I believe he upgraded his to a 463. TP can probably correct me if i'm wrong. That might be something i might look into.

Nothing's off topic with this thread, RidinLCWA is in that area, why do you ask and where are you located?

Just wonderin, cuz im tryin to find some better areas to ride...Im in the Rochester area....which is close to centralia.
Have you ridden the Capital Forest at all?
Thats kinda what i was wonderin.. Middle waddel = no more than 20 min from far side of rochester. what more do ya need. There is a bunch of riding out garret crick and lincoln crick aswell. but i have not ridden out at those places as of yet. just got friends that go out there.

Yup, TP hooked me up with JS Racing and Jim has my engine as we speak. He's doing all the little of this and little of that for me. Can't wait to get it back together. It's gonna scream.

hey MB when you gonna be back at the barn ...need more parts...the bolt and washer for my kick start are somewere at sand lake....the preddy runs awsome ... much more power with the new pipe...now I just need a steering stabilizer to calm down the twitchy frt end...but I got it dialed in...it can almost keep up with my 450(until I hit fifth gear)

You'll probably also need the little ball bearing that goes inside of it. The same thing happened to me over at Easton
