Well,

Your guys' favorite big brown truck will be making a delivery to my house
Nothing big, some stuff for the LT80, but it's a start
I think they'll get pretty familiar with my house over the next month though

Thanks MB for the help
The great reputation you have has just spread out a little farther

Now off to find some 428 sprockets......
Can't remember the website I found them on the other day.....hhhhhhhmmmm
Think I got it saved somewhere........

OK,

I need some help im my quest to learn.
I'm trying to learn about carburetors and what each component does
How to make changes, etc etc etc.....blah blah blah

So my questions for you experts.......
You might not be familiar with the LT80, but I'll give you the scenario and see if you can point me in the right direction.
I'm running 32:1 pre-mix

A stock carb has a 92.5 main and 20 pilot jet.

I have a stock carb that has been ported.
(was given this when I bought the race LT, the guy said to try in on my stock motor and it should work)
It has a 115 main and 20 pilot
When I put this carb on it runs like crap. It really plugs up quickly, take a long time to clean it out, then plugs up quickly again. It takes a while of running the throttle to clean out, but doesn't last long.

Should I go down to the stock size main jet and start from there to see how it runs?
Or ?????????????????

I'm not sure how to make up for the porting, or what adjustments to make to be able to use on my stock motor.

Anyway, thanks a bunch.......

These little bikes come richer than George W's oil account. I think you are doing the right thing by stepping down. On your main jet, keep this in mind. Go phat until it bogs under it's normal load (the lil one Sean) , then back it off a size. Fine tune your needle from that point. That is my two cents of advise. Bill

Now $kllz is askin' what to bring. I went to the list, and there will be beans from Texas. Other than that it doesn't say. Is it just going to be appatizer/party snacks, or are you triing to get a meal worked up?
