It's okay if DJ beats you, just tell me that you didn't finish behind Earl.

Earl said he was on my butt, after my first heat. I was like dang the first time I looked back I was goin into 4 and 2nd and 3rd were just out of 2. He was like earlier in the run. Ask Bobby how big my lead was, I couldn't believe it.

Real little turn out, 8 and 10 lap runs. I must have taken 100 laps, including open practice.

Morning PSAR MAN WAS IT A COLD HUMMER LAST NIGHT BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!! I about froze my you know whats off

Well the boys did GREAT last night was good to see DJ finally do something!!!!!!!!! He rode that thing HARD last night, after his heat he came off the track w/ some major arm pump/charlie horse, but shook it off for the main Joel you were soooooooooooooooo far ahead in that one race it was funny!!! You done GOOD!!!! As for Earl yeah he was there on maybe lap 1 & 2 until he spun it out!!
DJ got LOTS of laps in last night thats for sure!! If Justin doesn't run this next one DJ will be going into the youth2 class &/or 4-stroke open
Trevie did good too he took 1st in the peewee class whoohoooo riding it HARD!! Took 5th or 6th in the 50-65cc open class man they had them kids 7 WIDE on the start line that was a little scary for ME he was rubbin' on the start but didn't seem to bug him, he just kept on going LOL he did GOOD!!!! Did find out for some reason his front left tire is rubbing on the nerf bar so gotta get that fixed up this week!!! Think it's time to get him a "little" more UMP but we'll have to see!!
Well DJ & maybe Ron(Ron IF there is a non studded class) will be doing the ice racing it sounds like if my 300 started I would too but don't think THAT'LL happen by this weekend too much other stuff to do!!!! DJ wants to make an EEC appearance for once so that should be fun!! Soooo looks like today we will be doing a search on the property for some extra tires

Big time, what do ya want from your paddles speed are turning?
I really won't be dragging with my little 400, I just want all around good performance....I would like to able to turn out of a climb if I needed to but still have some good hook up for dragging sometimes..
Gooch,
I learned to ride a z400 on Sandstars, an angled pattern. I didn't feel they gave me great traction, but I was just learning to ride, too. I got stuck alot.

When I got my own z400, I started out with Gecko's. They are ok at best for hill climbs and tree shots. They are fairly heavy and I found I dug in alot if I tried to treeshot from a dead stop at the bottom of a hill.

Switched to Hauler extremes and WOW, what a huge difference. I found I had so much better hook up on hills, treeshots and sidehilling. They also do great on flats and pulling out of deeper puddles. I would absolutely recommend 8-paddle Haulers for the z400. Extremes are a stiffer paddle. I wanted something that would be durable and last for the money I was spending. I have had mine for about 3 years. I don't get to the dunes as often as I want, but when I do, I don't ride easy.
I also run Dune Trackers on my fronts, which have that rib to give you more control than buffs.

Skat-Trak Haulers can be a tad bit more expensive, but IMHO, if you have the money to spend on 2 sets, go with one really good set that will work everywhere.

I got mine at SMI Motorsports Delivered to my door for the most reasonable price at the time.
JMHO.
