Bing & Dual,
If we all go, as long as the weather is good I can drive the wifes crumb-cruncher mobile (Oh I mean van). Great MPG. I have room for five if anybody else interested. You can even watch movies, of any kind is fine with me. LOL

Hey Guys,
Good news! We made some good progress in the focus group meeting. It seems that so far we have most of the groups on our side, as well as Jon and Phil (the local land managers). It's not a slam dunk just yet, but we do seem to have trail guidelines on our side. It seems that the guidelines call for all debris (stumps, roots, etc..) to be removed from trail when they are built. When the trails where built in the Tahuya some years ago, quads where really not a factor. The debris did not affect the motorcycles, and since they where the only volunteers at the time, it was often overlooked.
So to sum it all up, we have a go on clearing the trails of debris. You know, those awful wheel grabbing things! Now we just need help from you guys when you can get the time, and we'll have some really nice 2-track trails.
Guys that are going to Cle-Elum, I'd like to see if I can get the time off and tag along. It's a tough sell in my line of work, but I'll try.
Also, keep sending in your e-mails to jon.byerly@wadnr.gov and phil.wolff@wadnr.gov and give informative and compelling reasons to clean the trails to the 55in wide mark.
Thanks Guys!
John

Oh, and don't forget, we have a trail work party Saturday the 10th. We meet at the Elfendahl Pass staging area at 9:00am and work til' 3:00pm. Whoever I don't see, I'll meet the rest of you at the pizza party! Just don't pat Happaworkedintotheground on the back, you'll just irritate the welts from the YoDaddy whip!

for anyone interested in a harescramble... also known as a GP... i know some have expressed interest
the 'over the bars gang'(OTBG) 2004 calendar is now posted at http://www.overthebarsgang.com/
thier GP course is awesome for quads, average track width is 30 ft, has natural rollers, whoops, gulleys, and some high speed sweepers among grass fields... the MX section is very quad frendly- no major jumps or doubles/triples, just some gnarly whoops sections, short/wide tabletops & a few off-camber corners. they have a great description on the website too.
the WORCS races are on this track march 26-28.
'04 OTBG Euro GP dates are: june 6th, september 26th, & november 14th... so mark your calendars!!!
i don't believe they allow quads at thier starvation ridge facility. however, if we could get the word passed along, maybe we can help overwhelm them with a large quad turnout??? ( thus increase the odds of other quad classes & events there???)

Hello? ..........................................I hear the wind swirling around and see the tumbleweeds rolling by.
Is there anyone else here in this ghost town?
Just checking in on what's needed for tomorrow, I don't have a polaski but I do have a chainsaw and shovels and picks and axe's "and other implements of destruction" But I don't have enough time to modify my trailer so I will just have to put my rear rack back on.
Also, the meeting time is 9:00am at Elfendahl parking, correct?
