Looks like I get to walk among the day dwellers come July 1st. 4-10 wrap around. Fri-Monday, dayshift. No weekends off, [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] but 3 days off a week in the summer and evenings off even when I am working. Couple vacation days will give me almost a week. Can't beat that with a stick. Think I might even adjust to that bright light in the sky everyone says you are supposed to be awake when it's around. I don't understand it, but I am willing to give it a try! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Less crowded during the week for camping or whatever, too. We shall see. Good afternoon PSAR. What a lovely rainy day here in Rat City. Talked to the kids on the farm and the sun is out, weather is great. Think I need to go spend a few days over there playing with the grandkids. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

LdyJay: Takes a while to get used to working weekends and making plans with folks that have weekends off but I suspect you will like it. SWMBO and I had that kind of schedule for a number of years and really liked it. Having time off durning the week does make for a lot less crowded camping, fishing and such and also makes it really easy to take care of medical appointments and other business stuff. I really think the advantages outweigh the problems that come up. One of the big advantages is the big bosses seldom, if ever, are interfearing with getting the work done. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] You may not have that problem where you work but most folks will understand this. The 4-10s is a sweet shift. Hope it works for you.

 

anyone have any good suggestions for food poisoning? Been spraying out both ends for 12 hours,,,,,,and I am very dehydrated now,,,,and cant hold down water.

I repeat,,,food poisoning,,,,no alcohol at all in the last 48 hours.

gonna get an intravenus needle if it goes much longer

 

Hey bing that sucks. Ematrol will help with the upchuckin. I think I spelled it right. Its pricy though but works like a champ. You can find it at all the Pharmacies. and once you stop blowing chunks if you have some percocet will back you up to stop squirting.

thanks Wild,,,Julie just got some pedialyte at the pharmacy,,,,,and i have been able to hold down about 8 ozs of water since my last post. Nothing left to squirt either,,,,seems to have stopped.
