What do you guy's know about painting plactics??? I didn't think you could, does it last, does it fade, will it look all screwed up when it scratches ect... I always thoght you had to buy new plastics to change the color! I would like to make my red Rancher Black. Is it possible???

Im not much on painting plastic,,,,unless it isn't going to see much abuse.

It works fine on a Dune only machine with race cut fenders in my experience, but take it from me prepping and painting plastic is a royal pain in the Azz and if you don't do it yourself it ain't cheap. Paint materials are very expensive and the process is labor intensive. For what you would have to pay someone to do it you could buy new plastic in the color of your choice that would hold up better. I don't know what choices you would have with a ute as far as plastic goes as I've never considered doing a Ute.
