I just got back from riding the Naches Trail. Seems that people here thought it was closed. On my way riding today I stopped at the ranger station. The ranger said the trail is open all the way to Eastern Washington. No downed trees just a little snow at the summit. The ranger said the July 15th date is an estimated date when the trail conditions would be ready for travel. He said because of all the warm weather most of the snow has melted. I didn’t go all the way to eastern Washington. I talked to some guys that had come from eastern Washington they said it’s totally ride able. I choose to get on the trail one of the harder ways, I 1/2 rolled it goin up. This trail isn’t for beginners. Pics from today:

I had actually talked to a Ranger on the phone from the Naches Ranger district and she told me it was closed, covered with snow and blowdowns! So much for listening to a friendly ranger!
