Damn, I am not even going to try to catch up. I haven't logged on in about a week. Hope everybody is doing well, I wish I could have made it to Easton. This is the first day that I didn't have to something in almost a month. It's kinda nice just to lay around and do nothin' [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Easton was very warm and Sunny. It is always great to get together and camp with the group. It was DUSTY!!! So dusty I lost sight of the road right in front of me. Had to hang back and let the dust clear so you didn't end up off in the bushes. Either that or lead so you don't eat all the dirt. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

We traveled a couple roads I hadn't been on before and a neat hill climb, now named Donut's Hill. Jenna climbed it on the 250 like a pro. No carnage. Yeah! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
Now she just needs to avoid those pine cones in camp. Sneaky little buggers. They were killers. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

DJ has been offered to drive a race car(bomber class) @ Monroe, Tenino Port Angeles(sp) & State Line ID [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] HE'S STOKED to say the least!! It was priceless how it went down haha we've know for a couple weeks(can you believe I kept my mouth shut haha) he came to Bill Pelham Sr.'s house for a BBQ last night & seen the car & ooogled it then said "man wish I could drive that" So "pops" said well we have a mechanic, & a pit crew but no driver how would you like to drive it? He thought taht was pretty COOL!!
So they have work to do on it & he will be helping w/ that then we aren't sure when he will race yet!!!
It is a 78 Dodge Duster they are also repainting it red/black(what a coincidence that is our race colors [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]) soon so I'll keep everyone posted on when he hits the track for the 1st time!!! Have to have a PSAR CHEERING SECTION!!!!

Just got time to get on the puter, been catching up on the Corgi dog's duties. I lost the message as I was answering it due to my extream expertise with this dang machine. It always does what I tell it to do rather than what I want done. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

I do know three different families with that surname in the Goldendale area. Family with the longest time in the area came their shortly after 1900. Let me know which family it is, we may have common relitives in the area. 12th cousins once removed by marriage type of thing. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

EDIT: Ya gotta understand, our family got into the valley in the 1880's and there was not a lot of choice when kids reached the marryin age. Had to watch out for inbreeding problems even when I was in high school. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] As an example, my wife and I have a common first cousin. I on his fathers side and she from the mothers side. This means our kids are their own double second cousins. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

Nope, thats wrong. They are double second cousins to the wife's and my first cousin and their own double 4th cousins. Now, wasent that fun? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Easton was great as usual, dusty though. It seemed I did less riding this trip and more hanging around camp, which was pretty cool. Taking Bindi for runs around the airfield, playing horse shoes, swimming in the creek and hiking to the top of Full Throttle, yeah, it was a good time.
