The unfortunate truth of what we see on the news is far from the truth. You are correct Ryan's brigade is probably wearing some great stuff. Why???? Because they received world wide media coverage. There are still many troops on the ground that do not have the good equipment that Special Operation Forces are privy too. I'll be in Boise, Ya'll have fun and be safe. I was talking to some guys at work and they were talking about the 30% disability free admission thing. It is a fact. They should tell you (or should have told you) how to get it when you do your transition assistance course or whatever you grunts call it. As for me i got all kinds of disabilities, mental and physical and plan on exploiting them for all they're worth. It's been a long hard 22 years.
